Piano Tuning

Each tuning is unique and intended to make your piano sound its best. As part of the process of tuning, we make minor adjustments to the spacing of each note within each octave. We recommend that home pianos are tuned every six months.

Pitch Adjustment

Usually needed if a piano has not been tuned in over a year, or if it has been moved. Changes in temperature and/or humidity cause a piano to be noticeably sharp or flat and require either pitch raising or pitch lowering.

Action Regulation

Includes light refurbishment of cloth, felt and buckskin components and adjustment of mechanical components. Compensates for wear and restores uniformity of tone, touch response & key motion. Recommended every five to ten years.

Keytop Replacement

Refreshes your piano’s appearance.

Humidifier/dehumidifier system maintains optimal conditions (45% R.H.) inside your piano’s case, without affecting humidity levels in the rest of your home. Extends lifespan of metal, wood, felt and buckskin components. Increases tuning stability and improves touch response.
